O Instituto Peabiru é parceiro implementador do projeto Água, Saneamento e Higiene na Escola, em Barcarena (PA).

O projeto é promovido pelo Fundo das Nações Unidas para a Infância (UNICEF), e tem como objetivo melhorar as condições sanitárias em 25 escolas rurais e ribeirinhas de Barcarena, no Pará.

O projeto prevê atividades como capacitação de gestores escolares para viabilizar investimentos em infraestrutura para água, saneamento e higiene, oficinas e formações sobre a temática, elaboração de projetos de melhorias nas 25 escolas participantes, entre outras atividades.
